Wishbone has vast experience with all things food, as he has worked in more than 15 restaurants as chef, caterer, manager and owner; in food service sales for nearly 30 years; and has gardened all his life. After receiving many requests over the years from friends and family to start selling his products, so they could share them with their own friends and family, Wishbone decided to try his hand at commercial sales and started Blue Moon in 2006. He was one of the first vendors to jump on board at the opening of Spartanburg, SC's Hub City Farmer's Market and discovered quickly that he did indeed have a market for his products. His sauces and seasonings started flying off the shelves and his line of four different styles of pimiento cheese (Original, Jalapeno, Blue Cheese and Mixed Olive) sold out nearly every week.
